Choose embroidery design size

Every embroidery machine has a maximum embroidery area it can stitch. For an embroidery design to be compatible with your embroidery machine, it must be smaller than your machine’s embroidery area. If you don’t know your machine’s embroidery area, check your machine’s user manual, or talk to your dealer.

Look for the drop-down menu on each design’s page to select the size you want to order. You can also choose the “All Sizes” option, which contains all available sizes of a design, at a discount over purchasing each size individually.

Some machines offer a multi-position hoop that’s larger than your machine’s embroidery area. These allow you to stitch multiple areas without re-hooping; they do not increase the machine’s embroidery area.

Some embroidery machines also have a maximum stitch count. It’s rare that an embroidery design exceeds a machine’s maximum stitch count, but it can happen. Check your machine’s manual for details on your embroidery machine.
