A Beautiful Beginning
Created By Elaine
These are the first two pillows Elaine ever stitched. They're beautiful and she is so excited. She writes... "I just had to share my first ever project! I am new to machine embroidery and since purchasing my machine have only done monogramming and personalizing. Being too uninformed to tackle a project with a lot of thread changes as well as altering and placing additional designs onto the project, I feared I may never produce the beautiful things floating in my head. But, nothing ventured, nothing gained! So I read and read, purchased MANY designs from your site, and finally felt I had enough information to forge ahead. This throw pillow is my first attempt and even though I can see where I could have improved the total layout I am SO PROUD! I used your Scarlet Macaw pattern but eliminated the fronds and frame because I wanted to cover a larger area. My Singer Futura's largest hoop is 5x7. So I added a few palm fronds here and there and came up with a beautiful 18x18 throw pillow. I can't tell you how easy your designs and accompanying thread info make me look like I know what I am doing!" Oh, Elaine, these are so fabulous for your first ever pillows! Your design layouts are terrific. Of course you know what you're doing, and for the rest, you made it up as you go which is all anyone does, including the pros. Great work! Thanks for sharing!
