Cara writes of this refreshing bag... "I started this bag last year, got sidetracked, and finally finished it! When I saw the Avant Garden designs I knew I had to make yet another bag. I used Mom's Singer Quantam XL-6000 for the embroidery, and a SailRite heavy duty machine to sew it up. The avocado green fabric is probably a lightweight duck or canvas, not cotton, vinylized on the back. The navy is a heavier cotton duck. I did my design layout using embroidery software, including a little resizing to get the look I wanted. I also made a matching luggage/ID tag for the bag. Thanks for the project inspiring designs! Please keep 'em coming." Cara also used a piece of plexiglass on the bag bottom, since she will carry books in it. The bag has a great outer pocket, a zippered top, a center divider with a zipper pocket, a water bottle pocket, and a ring to clip keys onto. Awesome!
