Lois delighted us with pictures of a quilt she made for her new granddaughter!

She writes, "I used the Mola designs, both the satin stitch and matching quilt designs. I made the quilt with alternating squares, and used my Janome 12000 to quilt the blank squares with the mola quilt designs. When Averie is a little older we can play I Spy to find the parrot, or the cupcake, and then find the matching outline designs."

That is such a neat idea, Lois - thanks for sharing that with us. Mola designs are bright and colorful, and they'll be eye-catching for the little one. There will be much for her to explore in this quilt as she grows!
