Marilyn writes, "I needed an accent pillow for my bed and when I went through the designs, what could be more fitting than this magnificent bird, the Brown Pelican - especially living in Florida."

That is a perfect fit, Marilyn!

She continues, "The colors also blended in the decor of the room. I am with the Florida Sew-Society and we are now making outfits for some of the under privileged children here. We want as many children as we can to have new outfits to start the school year. So many of us old retired people here with time on our hands are sewing now and I plan to use a lot of the patterns from you. So thank you for that opportunity to make some special fun clothes for them."
