Gwen writes of this handsome lion... "I stitched the Lion (Redwork) design on a 5x 5 quilt block and stitched brown variegated yarn in the ditch. I sewed one of the decorative stitches on my Brother 4000D sewing machine around the mane to give it a little texture. Then I placed the block in a photo frame. I gave it to my boss for a baby shower gift." The lion looks terrific in his fabric frame and in the larger frame. The darker thread and frame go so well together. And his mane is very eye-catching.
