Penny has a Designer SE machine, and she made this gorgeous quilt with hot air balloon designs. This quilt symbolizes courage, determination, and the strength of a town to rebuild.

She writes, "I made this quilt to commemorate the Canadian Hot Air Balloon Championships that were held in our town in September 2013. On June 20, 2013, we went through a devastating flood and it was thought that we would have to cancel. After a lot of determination and lots of volunteer help, we were able to hold the balloon championships and car show as planned. It was signed by all the balloonists and silent auctioned off among them. The successful bidder donated it to our local museum."
