Lorraine added tropical flair to her home with this beautiful mini-quilt.

She has a Baby Lock Ellisimo machine, and a fondness for flamingos. Here she embroidered the Summer Lovin' Flamingo in Flowers design onto white fabric, then used blue for the border. The blue fabric is reminiscent of water, adding to the tropical effect.
