Deb stitched designs from the Owl Be Groovin' Design Pack onto this delightful wall hanging, then got really creative for the border. She writes, "I was going to tie little sticks to the bottoms of the owls to look like they were sitting on branches, but then thought there was too much brown space in the whole thing and couldn't decide on a border, so I made one out of little sticks with fabric tied onto each stick. I applied the sticks to the wall hanging with hot glue. I tried to match the fabric on the sticks to what I used in the owls." What a great idea! The twig and ribbon border looks great, and really adds a lot of interest to the wall hanging. I love the bright colors, and the batik fabric is terrific.
