Linda sent in a photo of a gorgeous quilt that she made to honor her Irish background.

She writes, "This quilt was made on two different machines. I had started it with my Viking Designer 1. For Christmas last year my husband got me a new Diamond."

Wow - what an excellent gift!

She continues, "I have never kept a quilt that I had made. Someone was having a baby or being sick and it just each to throw a quilt together and off my creations would go to someone else."

I think a lot of us can relate to that, Linda!

"I have also loved my Irish background and the beautiful knotwork designs. When I found the material at Hancock's with the knotwork on it, I knew I had found MY quilt. I used designs from the Celtic Knotwork pack for the majority of the designs and then some others that I had found along the way."

This is beautiful, Linda! I adore the shades of green you used in the blocks - and the piecing is exquisite. This quilt is an excellent tribute to quilting, embroidery, and your Irish heritage. Thank you for sending the photo!
