At the very adamant request of her neighbor, Carole stitched this up as a gift for that neighbor. She writes, "I just got my Janome 300 embroidery machine and didn't know a lot about the art of embroidery. My neighbor had more confidence in me than I had. We loved your designs of the leaves. and she talked me into doing them. As I was embroidering the towels she keep coming over to see them.
