Nancy stitched up this fabulous log cabin quilt for her nephew using her Viking Designer 1. Her nephew built a log home in Connecticut, so using a northwoods theme was a pretty natural idea. It took her about six months to complete, working on it between other projects. During that time, she says, "I actually brought the quilt-in-progress to show the students in the school where I teach. They were working on patchwork quilts to donate to Paul Newman's Hole-in-the-Wall Camp. I wanted them to see what you can do with all the wonderful fabrics and embroidery designs we have."
