I hope Mary considers imitation to be the sincerest form of admiration! When I saw her Plush Baby Block in the Stitcher's Showcase, I fell in love with it! Two friends from church have just had babies and so I made some for them. I embroidered the birthdate and time on the flannel on one end and the weight and length on the other. I did find, in using the Minkee with dots, that it works better to leave the cut-a-way stabilizer on the entire piece and that helps to prevent the dots from getting stretched away after you insert the foam. Thanks Mary for such a cute idea, complete with bells! I always enjoy the inspiration from the Showcase! Thank you Embroidery Library for all the fabulous designs and the sales!
