Joyce has a Brother Quattro and she made this darling mini-quilt with applique pumpkin designs.

She embroidered the designs onto a pale green fabric, using orange-patterned fabric for the applique. Then she added borders of green, orange, and green again, for a lovely autumn effect.

Those that are new to machine embroidery applique will find this tutorial and video to be an excellent guide.
