I made this quilt for a new baby in the family using the Embroidery Library Adinkra Animal Pack, my Babylock Ellegante and Designer's Gallery Letterworks and Customworks. Baby Nicolas will grow up in a family speaking both French and English so, in addition to the Adinkra name for each animal symbol, I included the French and English translations for each symbol. Nicolas' father has worked with Doctors Without Borders in Ghana and his mother is a favorite cousin/pediatrician. The designs were perfect for this project and stitched out beautifully.
