Patty used her own hand-dyed fabrics with a variety of sewing-themed designs to make this wonderful wall hanging!

She writes, "I made this quilted wall hanging using cotton fabric I hand-dyed, using the Tutti-Fruiti color set from Pro-Chemical & Dye. I added brown, cream, and navy-blue fabrics but all the rest is hand-dyed including the pastel pink-blue fabric in the embroidered blocks. I love the cheerful colors from this set, and I used all 30 colors. Our quilt guild had a challenge to make something with the spool block, and this is my project. The wonderful center block is embroidered with a design from Embroidery Library. And it tells the truth - I AM working on projects half-done, to finish them. I love your designs in Embroidery Library. This was constructed and quilted on a Janome Memorycraft 10001. The wall hanging measures 23 x 35 inches."

This is excellent, Patty! The spool block is the perfect choice for this theme. The fabrics are gorgeous, and make me want to experiment with dyeing, too. Extraordinary!
