More intense designs work well on terry cloth towels, as these beautiful towels Shirley stitched on her Designer I with the birds from the Soaring into Spring Design Pack show. She made them for her mother and mother-in-law for Mother's Day, and they are so lovely. I'm sure they were thrilled! The designs are perfect on these towels.
