Sue has two embroidery machines - a Bernina 180, and a Bernina 730. She made this beautiful purse with a sea-loving design!

She writes, "I am sending photos of a purse I made last week for a friend using the Song of the Seashell design. It turned out beautifully. It has the metal tape measure inserted in top for a snappy closure. It has pockets in the lining (photo doesn't show very well) and also has an outside pocket on which the design is embroidered. The straps allow the purse to hang under my arm from shoulder. Also, my Kindle tablet and other necessities fit just right inside.... so decided to give it to myself and make friend another with different nautical designs."

I love that ending, Sue, and I didn't see it coming! What a wonderful "gift" to yourself. The fabric that you chose for the lining is absolutely perfect. Beautifully done!
