Mavis was inspired by a project that she saw in an embroidery magazine, and the result is this gorgeous wall hanging.

She writes, "After getting my latest copy of Australian Creative Machine Embroidery and viewing the Silent Night wall hanging that was featured, I purchased the design and made a similar one. I didn't have any star fabric for the borders so I embroidered my own. I was very pleased with the result."

She has a Viking Husqvarna Designer 1 machine. This is absolutely beautiful, Mavis! The quilting adds wonderful texture and makes the colors in the design stand out even more from the fabric. Thank you for sending the photo!
