Diana was inspired by the Fabrics 101: Embridering on Straw article, and decided to try it herself. She was very pleased with how beautifully her straw placemats turned out after she embellished them with the Swedish Folk Art Border on her Husqvarna Designer Diamond. She used her endless hoop, and sticky fabri-solvy as a topping to minimize any gapping over the ribbed straw texture. Great job, Diana! Thanks for sharing this colorful placemat project with us.
