Joanne and her Bernina Artistia 730E created a lot of happiness. She writes... "We are building a house and hired a deaf contractor to erect our Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) walls. After working with him for 3 months, we have become rather fond of him. Early in the process, he taught us some basic sign language, including the sign for love. I decided I would make him a wall hanging using the love symbol to show him our appreciation for his work. I found the love symbol on your website and purchased it. I then added the name of the contractor's company, "Perrier's Concrete Homes". There is a lot or rebar used in the walls of and ICF home and so, I decided to use rebar for my dowel at the top of the hanging." She says he was thrilled to receive the wall hanging, and it certainly shows. What a great example of creating personal, meaningful gifts with embroidery. Bravo, Joanne!
