Thread colors on the color change sheet for each design are listed in Madeira Rayon numbers unless otherwise noted. There are many different embroidery thread brands available. You can use the Thread Exchange tool to help find color equivalents between popular brands.
Color change sheet
On the color change sheet for a design, click the Thread Exchange button, or just scroll down to find the Thread Exchange tool.
Color swatches and Madeira Rayon numbers for the design are listed by default.
Check the box next to another brand to display the equivalent thread numbers for that brand.
Not all colors have equivalents between brands, so you may see that not all the threads listed on a color change sheet have matches in your preferred brand. Only very close equivalents are listed in the Thread Exchange.
If a match is not listed for one of the threads on a color change sheet, you can refer to the color swatches and step descriptions on the color change sheet to help choose a color that you think will work best for the design.
