Every embroidery design comes with a color change sheet that shows the colors we used to stitch out a design. The color changes displayed on your embroidery machine or in your embroidery software will look different (here’s why)—if you want to stitch a design like we did, ignore those colors and follow the color change sheet instead.
You can find the color change sheet for each design online, or included with the design download.
Access color change sheets online
Go to the page for that design, then scroll down to the “Project Tips & Tools” section. Click on “Color Change Sheet” to expand that section, and you’ll see the color change sheet for that design. Here’s an example:

Download the design, then open the zipped download folder. Look for a PDF color change sheet. Here’s an example:
