Denise says of her homemade Valentine for her husband... "The front of the card is lace done on heavy wash away then tacked to the, purchased, handmade paper. I also moved the steam heart to the last stop because I raised it out of the spot where the coffee was. Just a tad. When it was finished sewing I did a zigzag all around where the coffee should have been and then slit it. Just like you would the candy cane holder designs. I then added a gift card to my husbands favorite, local, coffee shop. It was a huge hit with him and me." I can see why, Denise! What a creative and personal Valentine. I love the gift card idea.
