Karen made this pillow sham for a friend, using thread she already had to match her decor. She says, "Here is a picture of the lined pillow covering I made for a friend. She loves owls and I tried using colors that would accentuate the owl and blend in with the decor of her home. I always use thread colors that are in my inventory rather than buying more. I made a pair of replacement covers and inserted zippers for easy removal." This pillow is beautiful, Karen, and so handy to be able to remove it for cleaning, or just to change the look of it with other covers. I'm sure your friend was thrilled with such a lovely gift.
