Soon those of us in the United States will be observing Memorial Day, and patriotic-themed projects are especially meaningful and inspiring.

Sylvia writes, "I recently made this American Eagle Flag quilt. I was very pleased how it turned out using my Pfaff 4.0 creative machine."

This is magnificent! Sylvia found flag fabric to make eight blocks, and red, white, and blue fabrics serve as borders and corners. The center block features the Bald Eagle design.
