Bonnie knows that dogs can be our best friends, and quickly become part of the family. When her friend lost her beloved Emma and Jasper, Bonnie made a very special gift.

She writes, "A friend just lost, within 10 days apart, two elderly Scotty dogs. They were truly four-legged children. I made this pillow for my friend as a loving reminder of her special kids. The pillow is deliberately understated to reflect the solemnity of the occasion."

Bonnie has a Baby Lock Ellisimo machine. I can't imagine the shock of losing two dogs, so close together. Bonnie stitched the Graceful Scottish Terrier design in tan, and the simple stitches and tone-on-tone coloring achieves an elegant effect.
