"I purchased the Flower of the Month designs for January which feature the carnation and I just stitched up a lovely birthday gift for a very dear friend who happens to have a January birthday. I picked up a simple lightweight jacket and a T-shirt and stiched them as a set for her (lightweight because we live in New Mexico and not the great cold north). I used my Baby Lock 6-needle machine and had the project done in no time. I wanted to use the corner design as well, but the pockets on the jacket prevented that. Maybe I'll try to do some sweatshirt jackets where I can use the corners as well. I've included pictures for you to see.
