Elena used the Holy Night Battenburg Lace ornaments to decorate a tree for her church - and the result is stunning! She has a Janome 300E and and Bernina 780.

Battenburg lace designs are freestanding. They require 30-35 weight cotton thread, and that results in a hearty, sturdy look. For those that are new to this style of lace, this tutorial and video will be excellent guides.
