Christmas Treats Totes

Created By Patti
Patti writes of these darling holiday tote bags... "The tote bag was a combination of three designs (all Christmas cookies). I had to adjust the size of the designs so that all three would fit, and be as close as possible in height. I lined them up and combined the designs on my Babylock Ellisimo machine (I am able to resize and combine designs on the machine itself). I used hot fix crystals to add some sparkle. I think that it turned out very nice and using the prequilted fabric made it so quick and easy, no lining is necessary, and the tote bags are very sturdy. I used nylon webbing for the straps and reinforced the stitching for added strength. I also did the Rudolph reindeer and added several hot fix crystals to embellish the design, including a red one on the nose." Excellent work, Patti! The crystals are a fabulous touch, and it's great how you customized the designs to fit your project. Thanks for sharing how you made these totes with us! FAVORITE
