Utilizing the Claddagh design, washaway stablizer and her Brother Innovis 4500D, Cathy created this cute Celtic candle. Here's what she says about her project: "Once I washed the stabilizer away, I glued it on to a glass candle holder. This way, the entire candle can be utilized without starting any unwanted fires or ruining the embroidered project. After the candle has been burned away, the glass holder can still be used as is, put other candles in to it, make it a candy dish or put pretty a slender candle in it with pretty glass beads or pebbles around the base of the candle. I make dozens of them and give them away as Christmas presents." Very sweet! The Claddagh is a lovely romantic symbol too, so candles like this would be great at weddings!
