I made this apron for my niece's birthday. I love crazy quilt style sewing and machine embroidery. I finally found a way to use both! I embroidered the patches beforehand, and used that material as my base to work off. There are several patches of the reverse material, too. I made it reversible to cover the stabilizer and sewing. I used stabilizer as my pattern and sewed the patches on the stabilizer. All the decorative stitches around the patches are machine sewn. . I love your embroidery patterns and I'm always finding something new that I just "have" to add to my collection! Thanks for letting me brag a little about my projects.
