Patti created these gorgeous crazy quilt wall hangings on her Janome Memory Craft 9500, which she says she thoroughly enjoys. She writes... "While these are all my work, the credit for inspiration as well as teaching me how to crazy quilt, goes to my new friend Helen in Tennessee (I live in Canada). I saw her work on a quilting site with the very same centre design and commented on her wonderful work asking what the technique was called as I would like to try it. She replied almost instantly and from there our friendship was born. Not only did Helen answer all my questions, but she also went to a great deal of effort of photographing and posting a step-by-step procedure album with written captions on how to crazy quilt and then sent me the sample! We are now friends and e-mail back and forth on a regular basis. Another common point between us is that we both enjoy and shop at your site, Embroidery Library and had the identical design before meeting." A friendship born from a shared love of embroidery! That's so fun, Patti. And these wall hangings are just beautiful. I'm sure your granddaughters were all thrilled with them. Thank you for sharing this excellent project with us.
