Jamie sews on a Janome 350E, and this project was especially important. Her parents' home (and almost everything in it) was devastated by Hurricane Ike in 2008. She made fun things for them to use in their temporary housing, and useful items for when they moved back home. These delightful placemats are both -- fun and functional, and even reversible so they don't have to be laundered as often. Great thinking, Jamie!
