Helen1s story about her quilt speaks for itself: "Here is my finished coffee sofa quilt. I titled it Cuppa Comfort. I made it for my husband1s Aunt Sylvia who is never without her cup of coffee. It1s always the first thing she offers when we visit.

I used all cotton materials to include corduroy and poplin to give it texture and sheen. All the panels are embroidered using my Husqvarna Viking Designer SE sewing machine and the actual quilting was done on my old Bernina 1130. There is a great deal of stippling but you may not be able to see it in the photos. There are elements of crazy patch, my own personal favorite type of quilting. The quilt is sized for a twin bed or to use on the sofa. The top is quilted onto soft fleece so there was no need for batting or backing. It is the first in a series of quilts I am calling poetry quilts."
