Karen made her dogs a cover for their bed for Halloween, and liked it so much she decided they needed one for Easter, too. I'll let her tell the rest of the story, because it's really good and has a very happy ending. She writes... "Even though the dogs (two Havanese) sleep on our bed, in the morning the one likes to jump off and sleep in his own bed, which is a cherrywood Murphy bed (blends in like a piece of furniture when closed up), so I started to make new covers for each holiday. After all I have to look at it as much as the dogs do (hee hee). I changed the Easter pup to black and white to match our one dog. I did it all on my Baby Lock BMP6. And this project did more than I ever thought it would--hubby now says that I can sell my BMP6 and upgrade to the 10 needle machine. Who would have thought a nice doggie blanket could do so much?" I guess a doggie blanket as awesome as this one has magical powers! Great job, Karen, and thanks for sharing this fabulous project, and story, with us. I love it.
