Holly and her Viking Designer 1 made gorgeous lace covers for Christmas ornaments.

She writes, "I bought the small lace ornament covers set in December 05. I embroidered the Tear Drop Ornament with Robison Anton sparkle thread on my Designer 1. I then noticed a circle in a segment of the design and decided to put a 5 mm hot fix Swarovski crystal in the circles. I think it looks great and everyone that I showed it to during this past holiday season loved it. It sure added some pizzazz to my tree. I hope to manage to sew out several sets of ornament covers to give to family this coming Christmas."
