Sheena stitched up the fun wings for these 14" dolls. She writes, "I embroidered the wings on see-through material, backed with Ultra Solvey (sparkley material is also nice for the "fairy" wings). I carefully trimmed around the edges of the design and soaked the wings to remove the Solvey. When they were dry, I sprayed them with starch and used a little Fray Check on areas where I trimmed too close." What a neat idea! Wings are more than for embroidering on shirts, pants or linens, but look great in accessorizing 'fairy' dolls like these two! Thanks for sharing, Sheena!
