Farmhouse Style Quilt

Carol in Fair Oaks, CA stitched this quilt as a very special wedding present. She writes:
"When a longtime friend of the family let me know her daughter was getting married and settling in at her soon-to-be husband's farm house, I asked what colors and theme was her new home going to be. Her mom told me country blue, yellow and farm animals. With that to go on, some fabric from my ever-accumulating stash, my Singer Quantum XL6000, and embroidery designs from your Toile Barnyard Animals and Farm and Country Quick-Stitch Design Packs, I set out to make them a unique wedding present. The result was a duvet cover for their queen sized bed and included a warm down quilt for the winter and a lightweight cotton blanket for summer. The new couple were very happy to receive the gift and say that they plan on putting it to use once they return from their honeymoon."
