Sylvia has a Husqvarna Designer 1 machine, and she's been making beautiful wall hangings for special friends.

The top features a pineapple design - a symbol of hospitality. Sylvia embroidered onto green fabric and stitched through layers to create a quilted effect. An eye-catching floral print fabric makes a beautiful border.

The second wall hanging uses the Welcome Friends birdhouse design. Sylvia used strips of blue fabric to make a frame, and that ties the colors from the design and the border fabric together beautifully.
