I just wanted to share with you my version of the bottle aprons. I used Sulky Variegated threads and each grape stitched out as a different color. White Wine - Sulky 2202, Red Wine - Sulky 2124, Angel: I combined designs to use the large hoop - used one layer of badgemaster and used a layer of shelf liner between both hoops to hold stabilizer in place (I also use the Viking product Hoop Ease on some of my hoops. Shelf liner is less expensive- leaving more money for design purchases.) After I wrote to you, I realized that I should have stated that I used MaxiLock Serger thread on top and in Bobbin. I have stitched many lace designs with this thread and have had excellent results. Most other designs have been more stitch intense. I have stitched lace with RobisonAnton Rayon & Poly and Arc Poly, but really prefer serger thread as the results are more delicate and antique looking. I did not have any stitch or pull problems using the serger thread on any of the other designs in the set.
