Half Past Fishing Time
Created By Karyn
Karyn has a really fun story about these two Fly-Fishing clocks, which she stitched up using her Husqvarna Iris. She writes . . . "My husband is an avid fly fisherman and has been involved with a local fly fishing club for many years. Each year they have a Christmas banquet that includes a very large raffle. Most of the raffle items are fishing items and I generally create something to donate to this fund-raising event. This year, I designed and embroidered a fly fishing clock that netted many raffle tickets, one of which would be drawn to win. My husband, who constantly marveled at it during its creation, kept saying that he would buy $100 worth of raffle tickets and try to win it. I kept discouraging from doing this, as secretly, I was making him one of his own for Christmas." The first two pictures are of the clock for the raffle, the other - for Karyn's husband. She says about her husband's clock, "His clock is much bigger and allowed me to put numbers on it as well." That must have been a wonderful Christmas him! Thanks for sharing, Karyn!
