Friends gather here. Homespun happiness. A home is Made of Love and Dreams. These are the sentiments that Joni Sue stitched up, using her Viking Designer SE, for her sister, Letty. She writes . . . "I was thrilled with how awesome the Homespun Happiness designs came out, and sewed them on Ornasburg fabric which was the perfect canvas for the designs, and will look fabulous on her dark mahogany kitchen table. And I was pleased with the entirely different look, if you flip them over as I put fat quarters of vegetable fabrics on the reverse side. Stitching right sides together and adding a layer of batting for filler, I just left 3 or 4 inch opening to turn them right side out, and hand sewed the opening closed and decorative stitched the perimeter of the placemats in black thread on the tan embroidered side and matching thread on the underside (veggie side). A very fast and fun project, and one I hope Letty will enjoy for years to come!" We are sure she will! Thank you for sharing, Joni Sue!
