Marilyn made a gorgeous quilt for a very special friend. She has a Janome 11000 machine.

She writes "I am attaching some photos of your inspirational leaves plus other leaf designs I purchased from you. Those that had no message, I added my message. It came out very beautiful. I gave it as a prayer quilt to a friend going through a bout of cancer. I decided to see what the variegated threads would look like and found them to really turn out nice. I choose multi colored borders for the squares to bring out those colors. I love your designs."

I adore Marilyn's use of color in the quilt. She changed the colors in the embroidery designs to match the fabric squares. Each square is set against a stunning butterfly and filigree fabric, and that brings an uplifting feeling to the quilt.
