Sweatshirts are sturdy, and can support more stitch-intensive designs, as this lovely work by Karen shows. She says, "My daughter-in-law had requested that I embroider something on her sweatshirts for work. As always, I try to use the thread colors I already have and think they turned out pretty good. Proper placement is always an issue but sometimes you need to make adjustments based on the person wearing the article and their personal request. Be sure to allow plenty of stitching time.
