I know it is now a bit out of season, but I worked the month of December on new Chrismtas stockings for my family since it was the first time in several years we all were together for the holidays and the old ones had seen better days. Had these cut out for a year and laying in the closet begging to be stitched! I used upholstery fabric for the blue adult stockings and for the red children's stockings I used a big red tablecloth. I use a Singer Quantum 6000 to do my embroidery. I lined the blue ones with the red and the red ones were lined with Christmasy cotton fabric. They were a fun project and the family loved them.
