I needed to make something small for Bunco when I have it this month, and I wanted the theme to be "Me Time." So I decided to make a mug rug using your Blooming Beauty teapot and teacup. I tried to make the teacup into a pocket to hold an actual teabag, but the result is less than stellar. Still, it was a fun challenge. I wanted the quilting cotton background to look more like wallpaper, so I used one of my Viking Designer SE built-in stitches to make the background look more like wallpaper. I didn't think about it at the time--but should have--but the darker "table" shows through the teapot a bit. Still, it was fun to make, and I'm sure my Bunco winner will appreciate it.
