Leslie shared two fabulous photos with us. The top photo is of appliance covers she made, based on the original hand embroidery version on the bottom!

She writes, "A friend asked me to duplicate a toaster and mixer cover for her mother. She provided me with the originals. Though I do not do hand stitching as lovely as the vintage originals she gave me, I used designs I found on your site. This was a fun project to duplicate. I am not a sew-er by any stretch, I learned a lot by working on this project. My friend is delighted with the results and will be giving them to her on her next visit to see the grandchildren! Pictures show original covers and then the ones I made."

A better mixer I will be....toast makes the butter fly.....I love the vintage artwork and those fun phrases! It's such a treat to see the originals, Leslie, and you did an excellent job replicating them. What a fun project! Thank you for sending the photos!
