Everything came from thrift stores. The Inky Horse design on the Black linen fabric I picked up at Salvation Army. The scrap of lace I bought from a thrift store for $.25 (yes cents). The Nouveau Art Morning Glories Redwork design is on a blue faux suede material with embossed floral design I also bought at Salvation army. The lace is a shawl I got for $1.50 which I had to cut the fringe off of and then stitch just a portion on the front of the scarf to hide the seam (so had to modify the directions a little). I wore the blue scarf with the shirt you see (which also came from a thrift store for $1.50) to church today and received all kinds of compliments.
