Northern Lights Quilt Block

When the Alaska Fiber Festival issued a challenge to make a 24"x30" quilt block in celebration of the state's 50th birthday, Joyce's creativity shone bright! Richly colored fabrics contrast with snowy white, creating the backdrop for a variety of embroidery designs. Angelina fiber adds sparkle to represent the Northern Lights and snow. The completed quilt toured the state on display. Truly magical!
